SAFETY FEATURES OF THE WHITE WILLOW BARN

 We have a variety of features in the White Willow Barn to help ensure the safety of your guests. Below is a list of our safety features:

• There is a sprinkler system throughout the entire building

• In the event of a power outage, there is a backup generator that automatically goes on

• Numerous large glass doors.

  • Code requires 60 inches of doors for the square footage of the White Willow Barn and we have 492 inches of glass doors spaced evenly throughout the barn

  • Given the concept and goal of connecting space with nature, all the doors are obvious from every location in the barn

  • The exaggerated number and size of the glass doors emphasizes quick exits

  • Code allows up to 200 feet of exit distance without sprinklers and guests are never more than 27 feet from any two glass door exits

• The flooring is concrete throughout the barn

• The heating system is radiant floor heat encased in concrete

• There is an added 5/8 inch Type X gypsum board behind the wood finish on all interior barn walls and ceilings to increase fire containment
